Play Time

While Carson and I went to Utah we visited a friend of Carson's. It was Brayden Oliverson. He is so stinkin cute, and so fun to watch him play with Carson! They played for a couple of hours while Jessica and I got to catch up! I love that Carson is at that age were he can play with other kids or play by him self so I can get things done!!

Island Park

We were able to go to Island Park for the weekend, so we took another couple with us, Chris and Lindsay! It was so much fun to go and to just get out of Rexburg. I love it here, but its always nice to just get away even if its just for a night or so! It was so much fun in Island Park, the weather was perfect, the water was just the right temp, the company was great and the cute cabin that we stayed in was just right for us, what more could you ask for??!!! We hung out and played games, played in the water and food always tastes better when you make it somewhere else! I loved it and we are going to try to do it at least once every year if not more!

Saturday morning Carson was a little cuddly!

We found a life jacket that we thought would fit him, but this is what it ended up on him! TOO Big!

Carson scared of the water didn't want his feet in it at all!

Still really scared but with Jon's persistance.....

Carson loved being in the water!

Family Time and New Pics

We went down in May for my brothers wedding and since we were able to get the entire family there my mom wanted to get new family photos. Ones in her words......" Where we aren't in wedding attire, I want them to just be normal ones." So we all picked a color for our individual families. It was fun to get together and laugh and watch all the cousins play.

I love this one of Carson!

Having fun playing with Mommy's hair

Motor Biking

Like usual on most Saturday's Jon has to work. So Carson and I both wanted to spend some time with him, so we decided to go to where he was working that day. It was fun just spending time with him, but towards the end of being there one of his friends showed up in his new truck. Mostly to show it off to Jon! But he had 2 of his motor bikes in the back. He let us play with them for a while. So much fun! Jon got the hang of it real fast. Because he thought that he was a "pro" at it he decided to take Carson along on the ride with him. I was timid about it, but I knew that he wouldn't let anything happen to him. When it became my turn, it was a little of a rough start! I gettin ready and then I forgot which handle bars meant what, so I ran the bike into the Jeep.....the back bumper. It didn't do anything to it. But it sure was funny to watch! Needless to say I got the hang of it, it just took me a little while before I was comfortable to get out of first gear! It was fun. Enjoy the pics!

Slip n' Slide

While the girls were at my parents house I decided to get a slip n' slide. I had one growing up and we used it all the time, and plus it was so much fun too! Here are some pics of the girls doing it.

Testing it out first

After the first run at it, they decided that it was fun, Madalyn racing to beat Natalie to the start of it

Natalie thought it was funny to kick water on Madalyn. It was so much fun to watch!

Showing off some of her dance moves!

Oh ya, so good Natalie.

July 4th!

For the 4th of July we were just planning on staying here and going to the parade and see the fireworks in Idaho Falls. But then plans changed when my sister and her family moved to California. My sister had to get a "procedure" done so my parents went down there to be with her and her family. Prior to this my parents had gotten 4 tickets to go to the "Stadium of Fire". They were going to take Natalie and Madalyn (my nieces), because the Blue Man Group and Hannah Montana.....Miley Cyrus were going to perform. They LOVE her! So Kierston and I got to take the girls instead. It was so much fun.......Thanks mom and dad for that! It was probably one of the coolest things I have ever been to. And my first (if you can call it) Concert ever!!!

If you haven't ever been to one of these before, I would recommend it to everyone to go at least once!! Just make sure to leave 2+ hours to get there! I wont tell you all everything that happened, it would take way too long, and might get boring! I do have a ton of pictures so bare with me. Our camera is a good one, just not good enough to get good close up pictures of the Blue Man Group and Miley Cryus. You might have to click on the pictures to get a better view of it! Oh, on a side note, I heard Janelle Tingeys' sister sing the Anthem.....she is Ms. Utah, and she has a beautiful voice!

Madalyn, Kiers and Natalie before the BIG show!

We were all helping bringing the American Flag to the bottom

All of us saying the Pledge of Allegiance

I think that this is the picture of Janelle's sister singing, I'm not sure...sorry

Some of the troops gathering up the Flag

Girls running around

More of that, it was fun

They reenacted the Olympics in 7 min. They had every sport played there
You got the horses right there
Bicyclists

Then they had over 35 hundred dancers under the age 13 I believe dancing and using props. Natalie loved this because she is in all sorts of dance classes

Me and Natalie

Natalie doing what the Blue Man Group is telling the audience to do...I think they were teaching us the arm pump

The Blue Man Group

They were hitting drums with paint.....So Cool!

Me and Madalyn making "ugly" faces

Miley Cyrus

More of her

Keirston enjoying it all!

Natalie and Madalyn loving Miley!

Getting to the end of the show and getting ready for the fireworks!

Alright the fireworks lasted a long time. The girls were getting really tired and were about to fall asleep during it. They were so good......One might say tons better than the Idaho Falls show!!!

On our way out we found "Miley Cyrus' " limo. They got a picture of the awesome limo. They tried to look inside to see if they could see her, but no luck. It really isn't hers.......at least I am assuming that, but the girls didn't know that. The girls really thought it was a pretty limo.

It was so much fun. The girls absolutely loved it. Thanks again to Mom and Dad for letting Kiers and I take them. It was something that I will remember for ever!
